We also use Bushindo's learning material. All REBD students are required to obtain a copy of the 10th Kyu to Shodan study curriculum to assist them with their study. We've started a new beginner's Ninjutsu course. Now is the perfect time to enroll in our authentic Ninja training course. I will be ranking students through Shihan Richard Van Donk and Masaaki Hatsumi. All students who pass their kyu tests will receive an authentic Kyu certificate from Masaaki Hatsumi in Japan. Rivers Edge Bujinkan Dojo was founded in 2003 by Shidoshi-Ho Murdock. Shidoshi-Ho Mark Murdock began training in the Bujinkan in 1996 under Richard Van Donk. In 2006 through 2007 Shidoshi-Ho Murdock briefly trained under Shihan Ed Martin and obtainied his 4th Dan in Ninjutsu. During 2008 through early 2009 we suspended Ninjutsu classes due to lack of interest and the bad resession. In September 2009 Shidoshi-Ho Murdock returned to IBDA, Bushindo and Shihan Richard Van Donk. Shidoshi-Ho Murdock did this because of all the calls he had regarding "in person assistance" and instruction with Shihan's video black belt course. We've done this in the past and were happy do offer it again. At our dojo we teach the Kihon Happo, Sanshin no Kata, Nagi-waza, Gyaku waza, Koppojutsu, Kamae postures, Taihenjutsu, Dakentaijutsu, Teahodoki, a majority of Bujinkan weapons, various techniques and variations from all 9 Bujinkan Schools and several variations of the Kihon Happo and sanshin no kata. Thanks for your intrest in our school, Rivers Edge Bujinkan Dojo. We train indoors, and on several occaisions outdoors. For more information on our dojo, classes or seminars please call 919-753-7964 or email at manabimasho@yahoo.com Thanks, Shidoshi-Ho Mark Murdock, 4th Dan. Private classes available for the general public, military, police EMS and Fire, please call for the hourly rates. In the videos below a knife defense using a Kusari Fundo weapon and second a Ninjutsu demonstration at the 2007 Cotton Festival in Dunn, NC. In the third video basic multiple attacker principles. These techniques are being taught in a slower pace and a one after the other attack. This so that the students can see the movement. Beginners and lower ranking belts are not used as ukes (demonstration person), only conditioned brown belts and black belts are used as ukes.
