***New*** "Kid Ninja program",ages 7 through 12. Classes will be held every Tuesday 6:00pm to 7:00pm. This will be a separate class from the Kobushi-Do class. This class will teach traditional Bujinkan Budo/Ninpo Taijutsu (Ninjutsu).

***New*** "Traditional Adult and Teen Bujinkan Ninjutsu classes" (ages 12 1/2 through adult) will be from 7:00pm to 9:00pm every Tuesday evening.

Rivers Edge Bujinkan Dojo was founded in 2003 by Shidoshi-Ho Murdock. Rivers Edge is now SSMA Ninjutsu. Shidoshi-Ho Mark Murdock began officially training in Ninjutsu in 1996 under Richard Van Donk. He also trained at the Stephen Hayes's Quest Center in Chapel Hill, NC. in To-Shin-Do. Shidoshi-Ho Murdock received his Shodan while attending and training during the 2000 Tai-Kai in Atlanta, GA. and his latest rank of Yondan in 2006 from Shihan Ed Martin. Shidoshi-Ho Murdock was also affiliated with Shihan Ed Martin for a brief time (2005 through 2007) and has trained with many other Shihan and Shidoshi, including Shidoshi Stephen Hayes. Shidoshi-Ho Murdock is now affiliated with Shihan Van Donk. All students have the ability to get ranking from Masaaki Hatsumi in Japan.

Shihan (Shidoshi-Ho) Murdock teaches, both traditional Bujinkan and non traditional Modern Ninjutsu in addition to the regular Ju-Jitsu program. "I've taken several of the Bujinkan and To-Shin-Do Ninjutsu techniques and modified them to fit in with the Ju-Jitsu techniques in Manabi-Masho. I've also made them more modern".

We teach traditional Bujinkan Ninjutsu techniques that come from all aspects of the 9 schools of the Bujinkan, and teach the variations I've learned from the several Bujinkan Shihan that I've trained with over the last 17 years. I'll also teach a modern Ninjutsu variation with the techniques I've developed on my own, and also added from what I've learned at the Quest Centers "To-Shin-Do" Stephen Hayes's Ninjutsu. This includes basic Kamae, Sanshin No Kata, Kihon Happo (the 8 basic techniques and katas), Nage, various waza's, stealth training, weapons including 6ft, 4ft, 3ft Bo Bokken, Sword, Shuriken, Kusari Fundo, Koketsu Shoge and much more".

We also train outdoors on occassion (weather permitting) in addition to the dojo training. Ninjutsu is a fun, effective and a great martial art to train in. We look forward to hearing from".

Thanks, Shihan (Shidoshi-Ho) Mark Murdock
