On December 31, 2017 Founder, Grandmaster John H. Casarez retired from the Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu system.

On January 1, 2018 Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu was passed to his Soke-Dai, Grandmaster Mark Murdock and Master Allen Wilson.

On January 1, 2018 the system was renamed to Casarez-Ryu Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu in honor of the the creator of the system Grandmaster John H. Casarez. 

There may be adjustments and other changes coming in the near future.
